ABOUT
The idea of establishing a kennel came from my desire to share the beauty of the Japanese standard and the true spirit of the Shiba Inu with the Canadian show community. In 2024, I partnered with a respected NIPPO kennel, which has allowed me to advocate for NIPPO-standard Shibas in North America. Through "Meet the Breed" events, I’m excited to introduce people to the authentic nature of the Shiba Inu and promote this incredible breed to enthusiasts and newcomers alike. My journey with Shibas is a story of transformation, commitment, and love for this remarkable breed, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Welcome to Lil' Rascals Shiba Inus show kennel! My journey with Shiba Inu began as a pet owner, but it has grown into something truly extraordinary. Showing Shibas started as a personal path toward healing and mental wellness, and what began with pet-quality Shibas has turned into a passion that has taken me to the highest levels of the Canadian showring. Over the past three years, I’ve had the honour of transforming these Shibas into top dogs in the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) circuit, winning breed and group placements, multiple Best in Shows, and achieving the title of No. 1 Owner Handler of Shiba Inu in Canada.
